ASSP Proposed Governance Change

Proposed Governance Change

ASSP has proposed a governance change to the House of Delegates (HOD) structure.  The HOD will be meeting in September to vote on this change and needs the feedback from you, our members, on how they should vote.

A little background:  As with the US House of Representatives, each chapter has delegates that represent the chapter based on membership numbers.  Our Chapter, Greater San Jose, currently has two delegates, Mary Stine and Pat Hinds.  Both these individuals have been involved with ASSP for many years and have served in various volunteer positions.  They are tasked with attending delegate caucuses, town halls and HOD meetings.  They bring information back to the chapter Executive Committee and membership as well as vote on issues as a representative of membership.
