Recent Achievements and Chapter Updates
As President of the Greater San Jose chapter, I am proud to share several notable
achievements and updates with our community. This being my final year as President, I
believe the changes and accomplishments made under my administration were
improvements to resilience and capacity of accountability for our leadership.
In addition to these successes, we continue to provide several exciting initiatives on the
horizon that promise to enhance member engagement and outreach. I encourage
everyone to check out our Greater San Jose website for the latest updates. We now
have a tab for WISE Mentoring. I am the incoming ASSP Advisory Board WISE Chair.
This is an unlimited time role. All applications will come through to me, and we will
spearhead our program from this platform to engage with global chapters utilizing the
framework as a hub. We also have added an Advisory Group section to inform all of
what our two representatives are working on, and to announce meetings for your input.
We are also including Psychological Safety updates using ISO14003 to inform our
membership and give resources on that topic.
Council Leadership and Nominations
We have completed our elections and are proud to announce our new cabinet for 2026-
2027 and beyond. Our President and President -Elect officers share two years in each
role; their term in office shall conclude in 2029 and 2031 respectively.
Upcoming Events and Acknowledgments
Looking ahead, we have a depth of knowledge to be shared in the psychological safety
arena, the technical framework of water processing and an exciting opportunity to get
out and meet our members at the upcoming San Francisco Giants game with excellent
seats and a pre event session for those who cannot attend the game, but would like to
meet the officers.
